Our story began in 1988 as Flowers by Michael Hoelck. The business later became Hoelck’s Florist, with Michael and Victoria Hoelck growing the shop and serving communities across southeastern Connecticut for nearly four decades. Their work established a long local history of exquisite flowers for everyday moments, anniversaries, sympathy, weddings, and other special events.

When Michael and Victoria retired in early 2025, John and Morgan stepped in to continue the business and begin its next chapter. Hoelck’s Florist became Shoreline Florist, giving the shop a new name under new ownership while carrying forward an established presence in the area.

Shoreline Florist continues that history, providing floral service to longtime and new customers across the Connecticut Shoreline. From bouquets and plants to corsages and boutonnieres all locally delivered, our focus remains on serving the communities that have known this business for generations while giving us room to develop our own style and direction.

As a locally owned, family-run shop, our work stays close to home. Designs are created by our floral team in Waterford, and our established delivery operation helps ensure they arrive where they need to go. Longtime customers who first came to us as Hoelck’s Florist can still find the local service they know, while Shoreline Florist continues to move forward with its own look and direction.
